V0.9994 #3: A bigger fort, a smarter Frog King and a secret game mode
Bramble Hill Fort is rebuilt with a real gatehouse, Dash and a new climber called Pip bring races and bets, King Croakus gets a crown to knock off, and a secret command now unlocks a secret game mode.
Secret
- A secret command for a secret game mode has been added. Happy hunting!
Bramble Hill Fort
- The fort is bigger, more detailed and moved a little away from the hill: corner towers with flags, battlements all round, a well, crates, a weapon rack and torches.
- A real gatehouse with an iron portcullis that clunks and rattles up when you pound the switch. The switches now sink in with a sound.
- Before the Big Bonker is beaten, Dash jogs laps in the meadow (no time to talk!) and there is no race flag yet. Beat the Bonker and the flag rises from the hilltop.
- Lost the race? Talk to Dash at the top to retry: you both go back to the start.
- Pip the climber bets you can't reach the top of the Ledge Climb in time. The challenge is optional and you can retry it any time.
- The waterfall's foam now churns and sprays, and new solid stepping stones lead round the pond to the cave.
Swamp and bay
- King Croakus stays on his (bigger) lily pad until you step onto it, and gets back up if he falls off.
- His crown blocks stomps: knock it off with your cap, then jump on his head before he puts it back on.
- Sunshell Bay's flower beds start dried out and come back to colour bit by bit as you spray them.
Moves and polish
- Climb straight out of water onto a bank or ledge by jumping at it.
- A long fall lands with a heavy impact (no damage).
- The edge of the world now shimmers softly when you get close.
- Collision on roofs and cone tops is more accurate everywhere.
- A note in the Style menu explains why Floppa Odyssey has its own look editor.
