Floppatopia: a cozy new inn, a fresh look, the team split and tougher bosses
The inn is now a cozy house full of new things to do, Floppatopia and Floppa Odyssey look warmer and richer, the Collector splits up your team in World 5, and every boss is a real fight now.
What's in this build
- The inn is a cozy two-storey house now, cut open like a doll's house: three bedrooms upstairs, a lobby with the innkeeper, a dining table and a fireplace downstairs, a roof, a chimney and a garden, by day, at night and at sunrise.
- Requests at the inn: a "!" over a hero means they want to share a room with a friend, are craving a dish, need coins for gear or want an outing.
- The animal friend takes a bed at the inn, and sharing a room with a hero builds a bond that makes it stronger.
- Friendship level-ups get a little celebration overnight, everyone sleeps in their beds, mornings start with sunrise and stretching, breakfast shows every dish with a picture, and friends on the bench lounge in the lobby.
- A fresh look: no more washed-out haze, warmer light and richer colours, every world's battle arena and road has its own scenery, towns are in daylight with their own colours, and a gold gem floats over every world map stop you haven't cleared yet.
- The team split: in World 5 the Collector traps three of your friends in golden frames. Friends from the bench step in, and you have to beat the ghost ship to win them back.
- Bosses are a real fight now: they grow tougher from world to world, and each one was tuned with the teams of full playthroughs. The Mountain Tower's tortoise got much tougher too.
- Friends on the bench now get the same gear from the smith and learn class skills in battles, so swapping them in never makes the team weaker.
- Floppa Odyssey looks better too: soft clouds and a starry night sky, glowing coins and shrimp, warmer sand, swaying grass, snowy pine trees, fireflies in the swamp and wisps in the graveyard.
