V0.9992 #6: Ember Forge, a forge inside a volcano
Floppa Odyssey's Ember Forge is now a real level: conveyor belts over lava, hammers on a beat, stones you cool with the splash pack, a lava river to surf, a chimney full of hot air and the Furnace King. 16 Golden Shrimp to find.
What's in this build
- New level: Ember Forge. A dwarf-style forge deep inside a volcano, with lava lakes, a lava river and glowing basalt everywhere.
- The Belt Hall: conveyor belts over a lava pit. One carries you, one pushes you sideways and one runs against you.
- Hammer Row: six giant hammers slam down in a rhythm. Watch them, then run.
- You have the splash pack again: spray glowing stones in the lava lake and they harden for a few seconds, just long enough to hop across.
- Ride the chain lifts up the crucible, surf a cooled rock down the lava river, and let the hot air inside the big chimney carry you to the top.
- Steam vents throw you up through a ring course, and the cooling pools refill your pack.
- Flint the smith needs three lumps of ore, and his old vault is hidden under a cracked plate.
- Boss: the Furnace King throws fireballs and sends lava waves across his arena. Lure him onto a cooling grate so his feet turn to stone, then jump on his head. In his rage the lava rises round the throne.
