🏎️ FloppaKart
Arcade kart racing on island tracks. Drift for boosts, grab item boxes and fight for first place.
Modes
Test Range
Free practice with endless laps. Good for learning drifting and the ramps.
Race
3 to 5 laps (depending on the track), or one long run on a one-way course, against CPU racers, with item boxes on the track.
Time Trial
3 laps (or one run on a one-way course) against the clock. Your best time and a ghost of it are saved. When a track is rebuilt, its old records are cleared.
Shrimp Cup
All four race tracks in a row: Shrimp Track, Water Park, Floppa Mall and Neon Pinball. Points after every race (1st 15, 2nd 12, 3rd 10 …), standings in between and a podium ceremony with a trophy for the top three.
Online race
Race a friend online: 2 players plus 8 CPU racers over 3 laps. The host starts the race.
Normal and Sports speed
Every mode can be raced at Normal speed or in Sports mode, 25% faster for everyone. Time Trial keeps separate records for each.
Pick your driver
Drive as your current look, any of your 5 saved looks or one of the starter looks.
Split screen
Up to 4 players on one screen in Race and the Shrimp Cup. Each player picks their own controller (or the keyboard) in the menu.
CPU difficulty
Computer racers drive at 100% to 200%. Sports mode starts harder, and the better your place, the harder they push.

🧪 Test Range
about 510 mThe FloppaKart Academy practice ground with a slalom, ramps and a mega jump. The place to learn drifting, ramps and items.

🦐 Shrimp Track
about 900 mA winding island circuit with beaches and palm trees, trick ramps and the sea right next to the road.

🎡 Water Park
about 1180 mA big water park lap: boardwalk piers, a road under the lake, an anti-gravity corkscrew and loop, a wide beach run and a glide over the lagoon.

🛍️ Floppa Mall
about 1090 mThe longest track: an open two-floor mall with a supermarket and flipping escalators, then traffic in the parking lot and a glide back to the entrance.

🎱 Neon Pinball
about 840 mRace through a giant pinball machine in space: up the Jackpot Tower, down a tilted pinball table and home over a glass wire ramp and a loop.

🏔️ Frostpeak Pass
about 2320 mA one-way mountain pass in three sections: snowy canyon, rock tunnel, slalom, ski jump and a frozen road down to the valley.

🌋 Magma Keep
about 1010 mA castle in a lava lake with two routes, crushers, a lava pit, laser gates and a lava bridge with fire bars and geysers.

about 2490 mA one-way river run in boat mode: jungle rapids, a glide off the great falls into a lagoon, a canyon, a harbour town canal and the bay.
Cups
Four races in a row with points after each race and a trophy at the end.

🏆 Shrimp Cup
All four race tracks in a row: Shrimp Track, Water Park, Floppa Mall and Neon Pinball. Points after every race (1st 15, 2nd 12, 3rd 10 …), standings in between and a podium ceremony with a trophy for the top three.

🏆 Caracal Cup
Frostpeak Pass, Magma Keep, Mudslide Stadium and Saltwind Speedway: a one-way mountain pass, a lava castle, a dirt stadium and a winter coast circuit, with off-road, rails and wall rides.
Vehicles
Karts, a bike and a quad. Every vehicle has its own model, wheels and animations.
Standard Kart
The balanced one. Top speed 24, acceleration 22, steering 2.35, weight 1.00, stability 0.78.
Shrimp Sprint
Faster and sharper, but lighter and less stable. Top speed 27, acceleration 25.5, steering 2.70, weight 0.72, stability 0.60.
Floppa Bike
A bike that leans into the corners: quick, nimble and a little better off-road. Top speed 24.5, acceleration 23.5, steering 2.65, weight 0.86, stability 0.70.
Shrimp Quad
A heavy quad with big tyres that barely slows down off-road. Top speed 23, acceleration 21, steering 2.25, weight 1.25, stability 0.90.
Driving
Drifting
Press drift to hop. Keep holding and steer when you land to start the drift. The longer you drift, the bigger the mini-turbo you get when you release: Blue, then Red, then Purple.
Ramps & water
Trick ramps give extra air speed. Falling into the sea or leaving the track puts you back on the road.
Boat mode
On drivable water (the river in Floppa Falls) your vehicle turns into a boat: the wheels fold up, a propeller comes out and you float at full speed. Currents push you along and waves can be tricked off.
Track intro
Before the first start on a track a drone flies over the lap. Press any button to skip it.
Gliding
Big blue glide ramps open your glider. Steer while you sail through the air, and hold brake to float longer.
Off-road
Snow, dirt, gravel, salt and grass beside the road are drivable but slower, and they hide shortcuts. Boosts ignore the slowdown.
Charge jump
Hold drift without steering to charge, then let go to jump high. Land for a mini-turbo.
Grind rails
Land on a rail from a jump, or drive onto its low end, to grind along it. It charges a mini-turbo, and drift jumps you off.
Wall ride
Jump into a wall with arrows on it to ride along it for a moment, then drop off with a boost.
Items
Hover or tap a picture to watch the item in action. Item boxes respawn after about 4 seconds. What you get depends on your position: the further back you are, the stronger the item.
Two items
Gold boxes marked x2 give you two items at once. A normal box also gives you a second item when you already hold one. Switch between them with Q or X on a controller. While you hold an item out behind you for protection, switching is locked.
Shrimp
A speed boost of about 1.65 seconds. You can hold several.
Green Shell
A fast shell you hold and fire straight ahead. More common when you lead.
Red Bumper Ball
A homing ball that chases racers ahead of you within about 13 m. More common further back.
Blue Bumper Ball
Flies over the road and dives onto whoever is 1st, with a blue blast that also hits racers right next to them. Only for racers in 3rd place or lower, and rare.
Traffic Cone
An obstacle you hold and drop or throw to trip rivals. More common when you lead.
Rocket Rush
A huge speed burst for about 4.2 seconds that can hit rivals on the way. Much more common when you are far behind.
