V0.9995 #23: Backpack cleanup
The first part of the big inventory cleanup: no more lost or duplicated items, the Trader buys almost everything, and the price you see is the price you get.
Backpack fixes
- Sorting by rarity no longer duplicates or deletes items. Default sort puts everything back in its old slot.
- Crops, seeds, meals, fertilizer and the cooking pot are no longer lost when you load a save.
- Seashells and coral are no longer lost when you save.
- Campfire, Crafting Table, Grass Tuft, Computer and Binoculars show their real names instead of Empty Slot.
- The Only tools filter now shows your rods too.
- When your backpack is full you see Backpack full, and items stay on the ground instead of vanishing.
- The hotbar now matches the Tool Wheel, item shortcuts included: put a chair on 7 and key 7 picks it.
Selling
- The Trader buys everything that has a value: furniture (for half its shop price), rope, goblin horns, slime, seeds, arrows, bones and more. Fish sell there for 75% of their value.
- The Fisher's Market buys fish, bugs, both rods and the Bug Net.
- The price you see is always the price you get, for fish, fossils, seashells, coral, furniture, tickets and everything else.
- Prices are always shown in Coins, also at the Tinkerer, the Merchant, scratch tickets and the Customizer.
- The house sign and the museum kit can't be sold by mistake.
Names and look
- Basic Rod, Pro Rod and Bones now have the same name everywhere.
- Scratch tickets have an icon, and a scratched one is called Used Ticket.
- All Backpack labels are translated into every language.
- The tabs, search and buttons at the top of the Backpack no longer overlap, and your coins stay inside the window.
- The compass hides while the Backpack is open.
Saves
- Saves from older versions load with every item where it was.
